The consultants are helping to develop the new version of the SAFIRE model and to activate, manage and support the case studies being performed during the last six months of the project. The Municipality Associations are instrumental in setting the framework for the national reviews of the new SAFIRE model, with a view to its widespread use in each country. The municipalities and counties are divided into two groups. The first group is the municipalities/counties where the case studies will be performed, while the second group are those where SAFIRE has already been used at a local level.
