Hydro Construction PLC. (Hydro - Eritrea) established in 1997 as
private company in underground water activity, such as drilling, pumping test,
water pump and generator installation and distribution system. Hydro Con provides
services to (ECDF) Eritrean Community Development Fund /World Bank project,
also consultanting services including project design to UNICEF, EU/LWF/MoLG,
MGH Haugusta Germany and Swiss Disaster Relief in emergency water supply for
the displaced people. Hydro Con is also responsible for the designing and implementing
the water supply system for the National Insurance Corporation of Eritrea, Aligider
Agricultural Project, and the towns water supply.
In the Renewable Energy Sector, Hydro has installed many solar water pumps, solar water heater and solar lighting system for hospital, schools and private on behalf of the Ministry of Energy and Mine, Department of Energy, Research and Training Centre. Hydro are also agents and consultants to DULAS LIMITED, SWECO International wind power, Indian Mark Hand Pump and ESD.
The General Manager has specialist training in Renewable Energy DULAS Limited UK and before Hydro was established he was a member of (ReDR) Ready Engineer for Disaster and Relief and training International Red Cross of UK. He has installed solar fridge's in (EPI) Yemen, and provided consultant services to UNICEF/DWD in Uganda, Water Resources of Eritrea, as water project co-ordinator for UNDP/ERREC/USAID and EU/LWF, under UNDP/UNOPS program a training for dept. of Mine, Joint Venture with Hydro Construction & Engineering of Ethiopia.
