duties and responsibilities:
- Study, assess
and develop the potential renewable energy and new energy technology resources
of the country and promote the efficient use of all energy
resources; |
Energy sector focus | Its main areas of focus in the energy sector are its plans to initiate research in solar cells and solar energy. | Renewable
Energy Technology systems, including: - application, construction and installation of solar water heaters & solar cookers; - installation, repair and maintenance of PV systems; - standards of electrical installation; - co-ordination of training on a wide range of energy topics. |
Target groups | Training of professional junior physicists for industrial and research organisations .The courses are designed so that graduates would contribute to the activities of research organisations with a minimum amount of specialised training. For example, graduates should make meaningful contributions to solar energy research with a minimum amount of specialised training after their BSc. | |
