The primary objectives for the EUROPROSPER SAVE project are:

• Consolidate and where appropriate harmonise methodologies for energy audits and certification of existing office buildings across the seven Europrosper member countries , whilst allowing customisation in each country to accommodate existing techniques and national contexts
• Develop training courses to instruct practitioners in each of the seven countries on how to use the energy audit and certification methods, to include quality assured self-certification procedures
• Conduct a demonstration phase in each country to include the running of one training course and the trial of the certification process on at least one building to be undertaken by a trained assessor
• Define the role and activities of a national administration centre in each country which would manage a national building energy certification programme, to include issuing certificates, maintenance of benchmarks, accreditation of assessors, marketing, etc
