In
accordance with the Kyoto protocol of the UNFCC, the Ministry of Environment
of the Czech Republic lays down the framework for JI projects in the Czech
Republic, which has been approved in January 7, 2002.
The Ministry has prepared the institutional framework for JI projects. |

economic department of the Ministry of Environment has started the preparation
the scheme for Emission Trading.
The Climate
Change Unit was established at the Ministry of Environment in May 2003. |
